About The Role
A fast-growing industrial machinery company is looking for a driven and performance-oriented Sales Head / Regional Sales Manager to lead business development and revenue growth across India.
The role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in B2B industrial sales, capital equipment, automation machinery, or technical solution selling. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, expanding dealer/channel networks, and driving sales strategy across multiple industrial sectors including manufacturing, automotive, engineering, fabrication, and allied industries.

Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with business objectives
- Drive revenue growth across laser marking, welding, cutting, and cleaning machinery solutions
- Identify new business opportunities, target industries, and emerging market segments
- Expand market presence through direct sales and dealer/channel partnerships
Revenue & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate forecasting
- Drive cross-selling and up-selling opportunities through solution-based selling
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Acquire new customers across manufacturing, automotive, fabrication, engineering, jewelry, and industrial sectors
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients for repeat business and referrals
- Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
Channel & Dealer Network Development
- Build, manage, and support channel partners and dealer networks across assigned territories
- Improve partner performance through regular engagement and business planning
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
- Conduct regular performance reviews, sales training, and strategy discussions
- Foster a high-performance and growth-oriented sales culture
Market Research & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights to management
- Maintain CRM discipline and accurate sales documentation

Candidate Profile Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- MBA preferred
Experience
- 2–7 years of experience in B2B industrial sales
- Preferred experience in industrial machinery, automation, laser systems, CNC machines, manufacturing equipment, or capital goods sales
Required Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
- Techno-commercial understanding of industrial products and machinery
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and business development
- Experience in handling direct and channel sales
- Ability to travel extensively across India for client meetings, exhibitions, and business development activities
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and regional languages preferred
