Salary Slab: 8.00-10.00 lacs per annum
Location: Based in Rajkot (will be handling Saurashtra region - Amreli, Bhavnagar, Botad, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Devbhumi Dwarka, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Morbi, and Surendranagar.)
This role does not involve team handling, tender handling or dealer/channel management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation:
· Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets
· Drive direct sales of Ride-on (EV & Diesel), and truck-mounted road sweeping machines
· Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities
· Manage the complete sales cycle from first meeting to order closure
Field Sales Execution:
· Conduct regular field visits to municipalities, industrial sites, and institutional customers
· Perform product demos, trials, and site evaluations
· Work closely with customers to recommend the right machine configuration
· Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
Lead & Pipeline Management:
· Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
· Follow up on enquiries, demos, and quotations
· Update and manage leads through CRM or internal reporting systems
· Ensure timely submission of proposals and follow-ups
Customer Relationship Management:
· Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
· Coordinate with internal teams (service, production, logistics) for smooth order execution
· Support customers during machine commissioning and initial usage
· Drive repeat business and referrals
Market Intelligence & Feedback:
· Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer feedback
· Share market insights with the Sales Head for strategy planning
· Identify new application areas and emerging demand
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
· Sales target achievement (%)
· Order value closed
· New customer acquisition
· Demo-to-order conversion rate
· Sales pipeline value and accuracy
· Field visit productivity
· Customer retention and repeat orders
Required Qualifications & Experience:
· Graduate / Diploma in Engineering, Business, or related field
· 5–6 years of field sales experience in capital equipment / industrial machinery / municipal products
· Proven ability to close high-value B2B deals
· Experience in conducting product demos and trials
· Comfortable with extensive travel
Skills & Competencies:
· Strong negotiation and closing skills
· Excellent communication and presentation ability
· Hands-on, field-oriented approach
· Ability to understand technical products and applications
· Self-driven with strong planning and follow-up discipline
Preferred Background (Good to Have):
· Experience selling to municipal bodies, industrial plants, infrastructure projects
· Exposure to cleaning equipment, construction equipment, or heavy machinery
