Role Description

This is a full-time position for a Regional Sales Manager – North (Material Handling Products) based in New Delhi. The role is designed as a sole contributor position, where the employee will operate as a **“one-man army,” independently managing and driving the entire regional sales function without a dedicated sales team.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding business across North India, particularly within mineral processing, mining, and power generation companies. The role requires a highly self-driven professional capable of managing the complete sales cycle—from market development and lead generation to negotiation and order closure.

Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, managing relationships with key customers, conducting market analysis, preparing sales forecasts, and achieving regional sales targets. The individual will independently develop and execute strategies to penetrate key industrial sectors and strengthen the company’s presence in the region.

As a sole contributor, the candidate will handle customer engagement, technical discussions, commercial negotiations, and business development activities directly, while coordinating internally with marketing, operations, and technical teams to support sales efforts.

The role also requires ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing customer requirements, resolving concerns, and maintaining long-term client relationships while consistently working toward regional revenue growth.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in sales, client relationship management, and team leadership
  • Strong understanding of market analysis, business development, and strategic planning
  • Background in material handling or the industrial rubber products industry is a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to meet sales targets and handle pressure in a dynamic market environment
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and basic knowledge of sales analytics tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • Willingness to travel within the region to meet clients and oversee sales operations
  • Proven track record of leading successful regional sales initiatives
