Role : REGIONAL SALES MANAGER Modern Trade/ Qcom


Role responsibility :


  • Deliver key Sales objectives in their Region ie. Sales growth, Sales targets, Market shares and MT operational execution KPIs
  • Regional/area level planning for their geography with NAMs, KAMs, Regional SCM
  • Cross functional working with Finance – AR, Credit Control, Cost Control
  • Manage the regional/Area level relationships with Regional Managers of Top Accounts with high focus on Monthly/ Quarterly level planning
  • Manage daily/weekly/monthly indents and forecast with Demand planning team and regional SCM
  • Manage / Appoint Distributors
  • Drive geographic and category expansion by penetrating in new & existing markets with key customers
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
  • Manage team of ASE MT and indirect team of Merchandisers and Promoters in their region/Areas
  • Demonstrate high level of Matrix working and work closely with multiple verticals Finance, Supply Chain, HR , Trade Marketing
  • Negotiate on commerical terms with buyers and category
  • Planning visibility, activations for festivals & events as per the category plans. Seasonal Excellence – Drive seasonal Business and execution


Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. English, Hindi Must with Tamil/Kanada/Telegu
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Problem‑solving ability, resourcefulness. Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Advanced analytical capability with a focus on actionable insights (hands‑on Excel knowledge is a must)
  • Proven expertise in strategic/key account management within Dairy or FMCG

Experience Required

  • 5-10 years of total experience in FMCG, Dairy, Retail must
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience managing key accounts in the FMCG- Dairy sector is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of the fast-paced retail landscape
  • Post Graduation
  • Passionate about Food & Beverahe and the end-to-end customer experience

Travel will be need based with 10/12 days a month
