Job Title: Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – Institutional Business
Location: Based location Delhi coverage would be entire North (Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, J&K, Himachal, UP, Uttarakhand & Rajasthan).
Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – Institutional Business will be responsible for driving sales growth across institutional channels, including government and private hospitals. The role involves managing key accounts, leading the regional team, and strengthening relationships with institutional stakeholders and government authorities to expand business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve institutional business targets across the assigned region.
- Manage and expand key institutional accounts including government hospitals, private hospitals, and corporate healthcare institutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with government authorities for tender participation, approvals, and smooth execution of institutional contracts.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within institutional segments.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the institutional sales team.
- Ensure timely submission and follow-up of tenders, contracts, and rate agreements.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure seamless execution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
- 8–12 years of experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales, with strong exposure to institutional business.
- Proven experience in handling government tenders and institutional accounts.
- Strong understanding of regional healthcare systems and institutional frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large territories and deliver sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
