The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth, managing business development activities, and overseeing the performance of the sales team within a designated geographical region. This role involves strategic planning, market expansion, key account management, and achieving revenue targets customer.

The details of your role as a Regional Sales Manager will be as follows:

 โ€ข Formulate strategies to meet sales targets based on market analysis and business goals. 

 โ€ข Analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to forecast demand.

 โ€ข Set and achieve revenue targets for the region.

 โ€ข Recruit, train, and manage sales executives and area managers.

 โ€ข Regularly evaluate team performance against targets and provide constructive feedback.

 โ€ข Develop and implement incentive programs to motivate the sales team.

 โ€ข Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers.

 โ€ข Identify and onboard new distributors or retail partners to enhance market coverage.

 โ€ข Ensure an optimal inventory level across the distribution network to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

 โ€ข Analyze regional sales performance to identify opportunities and address challenges.

 โ€ข Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product launches.

 โ€ข Prepare and present sales reports, market analysis, and forecasts to senior management. Supply

 โ€ข Communicate with supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery.

 โ€ข 8-10 years in sales, with at least 3-5 years in managerial role, preferably in the mobile handset or technology sector

 โ€ข Proven ability to achieve or exceed revenue goals and sales targets

 โ€ข Expertise in negotiating terms with distributors, retailers, and other partners

 โ€ข Deep understanding of the mobile handset industry, including trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies

 โ€ข Strong knowledge of mobile handsets, features, and technology

 โ€ข Experience in leading and motivating sales teams

 โ€ข Proficiency in analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities

 โ€ข Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
