Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pondicherry for a Regional Sales Manager at S3V Vascular Technologies. The Regional Sales Manager will oversee and drive sales activities to achieve revenue targets in the assigned region. Responsibilities include developing strategies to expand market presence, leading and mentoring the sales team, maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role also involves monitoring market trends and reporting on performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
1.Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve business targets.
2.Manage, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team.
3.Monitor sales performance and ensure target achievement.
4.Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
5.Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key clients.
6.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
7.Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and budgets.
8.Coordinate with marketing, operations, and finance teams for smooth execution.
9.Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.
10.Conduct regular field visits and customer meetings.
11.Drive channel partner engagement and territory expansion
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales and market development, with skills in negotiation, deal closing, and market analysis.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities with experience in mentoring and motivating a sales team. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, B Pharma, Life Cycles, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills to engage with healthcare professionals and stakeholders effectively.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven approach to meet revenue goals.
- Knowledge of the medical technology industry or cardiovascular healthcare sector is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales software is preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Experiences
12–15 years of sales experience, with at least 9–10 years in a managerial role. Experience in handling regional sales operations and team management.
