Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager – Sales to lead and expand our business across the assigned region. The role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing regional sales teams, expanding distribution networks, and strengthening relationships with IFAs, MFDs, and key channel partners. The candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities along with a proven track record
in client acquisition, onboarding, relationship management, and sales performance in the BFSI sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Revenue Generation
- Drive regional sales strategy to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
- Expand the company’s distribution footprint through IFAs, MFDs, channel partners, and financial advisors.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strong pipelines for client acquisition and lead generation.
- Monitor regional performance and implement strategies to improve sales productivity.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, manage, and mentor Regional Sales Managers, Relationship Managers, and field sales teams.
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
- Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for the team.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and ensure strong sales discipline.
3. Client Acquisition & Onboarding
- Drive new client onboarding and portfolio growth within the assigned zone.
- Build strong relationships with high-value clients, partners, and distribution networks.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and smooth service delivery to clients.
4. Client Retention & Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, distributors, and channel partners.
- Develop strategies for client retention, upselling, and cross-selling financial products.
- Handle key escalations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
5. Lead Generation & Market Expansion
• Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to generate quality leads.
• Identify untapped markets and expand the company’s presence across the region.
• Develop strategic partnerships with financial institutions and distribution partners.
6. Compliance & Operational Excellence
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal compliance standards.
• Monitor onboarding processes and documentation standards.
• Maintain accurate MIS reports, sales forecasts, and regional business insights.
