Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager with strong experience in business development and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our presence in the GIS and geospatial solutions market by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in GIS and geospatial services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, infrastructure companies, utilities, and private sector clients
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable geospatial solutions
- Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams for proposals, presentations, and demonstrations
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and pipeline in CRM
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
- Willingness to travel across the assigned region as required
Eligibility Criteria
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years in Sales / Business Development
- Preference for candidates from GIS, Engineering Services, IT Solutions, or Infrastructure sectors
Educational Qualification:
- MBA in Sales/Marketing OR
- B.Tech in Civil / Geoinformatics / Environmental Engineering / Urban Planning
- Or any equivalent qualification with strong interest in geospatial solutions
Required Skills
- Strong understanding or interest in GIS and geospatial technologies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Good understanding of tendering processes and proposal preparation (preferred)
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently
