Company: Malu Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. with Head Office at Kanjurmarg (E), Mumbai
Designation: Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – West, North, East & South
Total Positions: 4
Location: Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata & Bangalore
Responsibilities:
This is a regional business head role, the incumbent will head offline trade business for one of the 4 regions of India, for both Professional (Hospitals, Doctors, Clinics, etc.) and Retail channels. Initially the role would function as an individual contributor, with focus on building distributor network and primary sales across top states and cities of the region, this would be followed by building the team to ensure smooth and sustained business.
Team Management: Build, lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Front Line Sales Officers (SOs). Recruit and deploy team as per the policy of the company.
Sales Planning & Execution: Develop and implement, comprehensive and granular sales plans to achieve region’s business targets and revenue growth, across cities and channels. Would require a hand-on approach to execution and would involve extensive travelling.
Market Share: Drive Sales Growth and Market Share, enhance brand presence & visibility, and manage regional sales operations as an independent business.
GTM and Distributor Management: Build a robust, evolving and commercially win-win network of CFAs / Super Distributors, Distributors, Sub Distributors and other partners to ensure viable coverage across channels, sub channels and cities & districts.
Outlet Network: Identify and list all professional and retail outlets (Including but not limited to Hospitals, Doctors / Clinics, Physiotherapy Centres, Chemists, Surgical Shops, etc.). Ensure regular coverage and servicing by proper & planned connect with team and distributor / sub distributor network.
Relationship Management: Build relationships with key stakeholders, including doctors, hospitals, institutions, distributors, sub-distributors and surgical parties.
Institutional Sales: Manage institutional business, including tenders and government / corporate hospital empanelment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Total experience of 10+ years, out of which minimum 5 years’ experience in the Ortho / Surgical industry is a must. Should have extensive exposure to handling Distributors, Hospitals and Clinicians and strong local understanding of the respective region.
Education: Minimum Science Graduate Degree, people with MBA in Sales / Marketing would be preferred.
Key Competencies: strong leadership, strategic thinking, skilled in problem solving, team building, business scale-up, and a customer / knowledge centric mindset.
Compensation:
The role offers a competitive annual CTC of ₹10,00,000 along with attractive performance-based incentives as per company policy.
