Regional Sales Manager - MPT Division will manage MPT product business through both direct sales and agency channels across India, Bangladesh, and select MEA countries. Responsible for executing commercial strategy and business development initiatives to drive rapid growth within targeted regions.


Responsibilities

  • Business growth & development for the product line of MPT for Pharma markets
  • Working with our Agency /Customers for business growth. Growth will be key part of the business.
  • Collaboration with our Agency to support end customers, understanding their application requirements, technology presentation, trials support and providing technical viable solutions to meet customer's needs.
  • Meets or exceeds order booking & sales (management) revenue plan as established through the AOP process.
  • Understands and evaluates evolving opportunities (generation) in the respective market Segment.
  • Works closely with the company agents and supports them through training / mentoring / monitoring to build capabilities for meeting the company Objectives thereby ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure preparation of reports for local as well as BU leaderships on KPI's and key matrices.
  • Monitors and reports product sales, competitor (knowledge) activity and overall market conditions and report findings to Sales Director.
  • Provides Monthly forecasts in the designated time frame
  • Participate in industry events to create higher market awareness for existing and new products.
  • Co-ordinates with the BU for order management process & ensure customer satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • Preferred qualification: MBA / PG Diploma in management
  • Must have qualification: B.Tech/B.E.



Required Skills

  • 12-15 years of experience in sales & marketing of capital goods to the Pharma Industry & channel management.
  • Experience in Granulation lines especially in the process of Wet & Dry granulation is to be preferred.

  • Market intelligence & Analytical skills: Collect & filter information for relevance and importance and draw selling strategies for achieving organizational goals.
  • Value selling & negotiation: Ability to sell premium products through deeper understanding of needs, favorably positioning of the product/solution and differentiation on overall value to customer.
  • Channel & Key account Management: Build relationships with all stakeholders within the Channel & customers, build capability, collaborate and drive channel partners to achieve the business goals.
  • Order & project management: Initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing Sales in coordination with the Channel Partner operations and other support functions to facilitate timely execution of Orders & Projects.
  • Sales funnel Management: Capture & qualify leads, eye for details to provide technically viable solution to meet customer needs.
