📢 We're Hiring | Regional Sales Manager – Lithium-Ion Batteries North India Region | U.P. · Haryana · Rajasthan · Punjab
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our Lithium-Ion battery business across Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Punjab. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, strong channel relationships, and a proven ability to drive revenue across a multi-state territory. You will own the P&L for the region, expand our dealer and distributor network, and represent our brand to OEMs, institutional buyers, and key accounts across EV, industrial, and renewable energy segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across the assigned region.
- Identify, onboard, and manage a strong network of distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
- Develop and execute region-specific sales strategies for Li-Ion battery products across EV, solar storage, and industrial segments.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with OEM accounts, government bodies, fleet operators, and system integrators.
- Conduct regular market visits, competitor benchmarking, and customer feedback analysis to stay ahead of market trends.
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence to senior leadership.
- Collaborate closely with product, supply chain, and after-sales teams to ensure seamless customer experience and on-time delivery.
- Lead, guide, and motivate a team of Area Sales Executives across the region.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, EV expos, and regional business events to drive brand presence.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience specifically in the Lithium-Ion battery, EV, or energy storage industry.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a multi-state territory.
- Strong existing network of dealers, distributors, OEMs, or EV players across U.P., Haryana, Rajasthan, and Punjab.
- Proven experience in building and scaling channel partner ecosystems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and MS Office / Google Workspace.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
Preferred Skills
- Technical understanding of Li-Ion battery chemistries (LFP, NMC, NCA), Battery Management Systems (BMS), and energy storage solutions.
- Familiarity with FAME-II subsidies, state EV policies, and government procurement processes.
- Prior exposure to e-rickshaw, electric vehicle, telecom backup, or solar energy customer segments in North India.
- Experience in setting up greenfield sales territories and driving rapid market penetration.
