Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mangaluru for a Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned region by managing and developing client relationships, leading a team of sales professionals, and achieving sales targets. Core duties will include identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, conducting market analysis, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The role also involves overseeing the implementation of sales campaigns and providing regular performance reports to management.
Qualifications
“Candidates must have experience in construction equipment sales, excavator sales, heavy equipment dealership operations, or the earthmoving machinery industry.”
- Sales and Marketing: Strong experience in B2B sales, client acquisition, and sales strategy development in the construction or mining industries.
- Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to manage and motivate a sales team, set objectives, and deliver results within deadlines.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
- Analytical and Strategic Skills: Expertise in market analysis, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to identify growth opportunities.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM), construction, or mining industry products and their associated technologies.
- Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite for reporting and data management.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to travel within the assigned region and adapt to changing business needs.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field is required. An MBA or equivalent experience in a related industry is preferred.
