Role Purpose:
The person will be responsible for the Business Development in newer markets, also be responsible to drives revenue growth within a specific territory by managing sales teams, distributors, and key accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional business plans to increase market share in industrial sectors.
- Generate new business from process industries, Channel Partner appointment and regular management to increase the business .
- Track project pipelines, shutdown requirements, and upcoming tenders.
- Review RFQs, tenders, and technical specifications; ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
- Support negotiations on pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms in line with company guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order execution, documentation, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and upcoming projects in the assigned region.
- Provide regular market feedback to management for strategic planning.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities for company portfolio.
- Undertake extensive travel within the territory to visit customers, project sites, and EPC offices.
- Represent company products at customer meetings, technical discussions, and industry events.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key end-users, engineering firms, and contractors to ensure client retention.
Qualification:
- B.E - Mechanical / Chemical / Production with 20+ years experience in Sales of valves/ actuators or any other industrial products.
- Strong knowledge of industrial valves and applications in Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, and Power sectors.
- Proven experience in handling PSU and large refinery accounts in East India region.
- Sound understanding of tendering, project sales, and EPC-driven business.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently with a strategic and result-oriented mindset.
- Good Presentation, Communication and Negotiation Skills
