Function: Regional Sales Manager – Primary Market Lead (with Multi-Market Team Oversight)
Reports to: Managing Director
Function Objective:
Responsible for driving sales growth in one assigned priority market while leading and managing a small sales team responsible for additional markets. This role combines direct revenue ownership with regional execution leadership.
Key Metric / Expectation:
Travel requirement: ~80% (local + international) to drive customer coverage, market development, and relationship building.

Bru stocks over 7 million meters of fabric and distributes to wholesalers and importers around the world. Our product is generally used for curtains, upholstery, wall covering, bedding, and accessories.

Bru Textiles India Private Limited is a subsidiary of Bru Textiles NV (Europe) and Fabric Library (Dubai) established in India in March 2024.
Bru Textiles India will now distribute global brands FibreGuard and Fabric Library in India, bringing two new European luxury brands to one of the world's most dynamic interiors landscapes. This is an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to be part of something transformative—owning one key market deeply, building relationships with top industry players, and leading a team to expand our reach across other territories.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Primary Responsibility – Own One Key Market
· Sales and after-sales in the assigned priority market/geographical area;
· Product placement (presentation and sales of fabrics, samples & services to existing and new customers);
· Serve as first-line contact vs. customers for commercial, operational & technical issues;
· Prospection (finding new contacts and follow up on business leads);
· Price and exclusivity negotiations;
· Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships (in person, via mail and phone calls);
· Identify and resolve customer concerns;
· Research the market and competitor products;
· Represent the company at trade shows & events;
Secondary Responsibility – Team Leadership for Other Markets
· Manage, guide, and support a team handling additional regions/markets;
· Drive accountability on coverage, customer engagement, and follow-ups across markets;
· Coach team members on product knowledge, consultative selling, and objection handling;
· Support the team in closing key deals, negotiating terms, and resolving escalations;
· Ensure strong coordination between markets and consistent customer experience;
· Share skills and knowledge with colleagues to raise the overall sales capability;
Sales Planning, Reporting & Execution
· Sales reporting & feedback (own market + consolidated team performance);
· Sales budgeting and forecasting;
· Travel planning and budgeting (own visits + team travel alignment where needed);
· Review sales performance against targets and take corrective action quickly;
Profile:
· Any Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering/Sciences/Commerce or equivalent experience;
· Backed up with experience in sales or marketing (B2B preferred);
· Experience handling premium customers / wholesale / interior category is a plus;
· Prior experience in leading a team will be an advantage.
Required Skills:
· Language: Fluent in Hindi and English is a must. Knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
· Software: Excel - High, Word - High, PowerPoint - High, Outlook - High

Travel Requirement (Key Metric):
This role requires travel up to 80% of the time (local and international) for customer meetings, market development, exhibitions, and team support across assigned territories.
