About the Team and the Role:
The Sales Operations team at Ather is responsible for managing regional business performance, driving retail and wholesale growth, and expanding the network footprint across various zones
This role is for a Regional Sales Manager who will independently lead a zone, ensuring accountability for all zonal metrics including retail sales, wholesale targets, and customer experience
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to achieve regional objectives.
- Take full accountability for zonal performance metrics, covering retail, wholesale, and customer experience.
- Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with Retail Partners within the assigned region.
- Partner with Zonal Brand Managers to execute comprehensive marketing activities, including BTL, ATL, and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Network team to strategize and execute the physical expansion of zone.
- Serve as a core member of Zonal Swimlanes to drive cross-functional alignment and regional growth.
- Work with Sales Strategy to design and implement regional offers and promotions within the allocated budget.
- Prepare and present detailed monthly and mid-month business reviews to Senior Management.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Post Graduation in any degree/Business Administration
- 9+ years of relevant experience in retail sales.
Must Have Competencies:
- Advanced data analytical skills to drive regional performance and metrics tracking.
- Strategic understanding of market dynamics and market share optimization.
- Technical knowledge of regional competition and market positioning.
- Proven people management experience with the ability to lead a team of sales professionals.
Good to have Competencies:
- Proficiency in regional network expansion and territory growth strategies.
- Ability to manage zonal budgets and allocate resources for promotional activities.
- Expertise in coordinating large-scale marketing campaigns including BTL and ATL activities.
- Competence in cross-functional stakeholder management through participation in business swimlanes.
