About The Role
As Regional Sales Manager, you will serve as the primary commercial contact and representative of Fuller for designated countries across the APAC region.
Working closely with internal sales teams and supporting functions, you will drive the sale of spare parts, services, and projects to cement industry customers within your assigned territory. You will be accountable for achieving the regional sales budget, maximizing contribution margins, and building strong, long-term customer relationships.
You will lead the final stages of customer negotiations, identify opportunities to grow sales, and ensure disciplined follow-up throughout the sales process. In close collaboration with internal stakeholders, you will also help ensure that proposals and orders are delivered in line with customer expectations and agreed commitments.
The role is primarily office-based, with regular customer visits and travel throughout the region. You will join a newly established, globally distributed team of motivated sales professionals.
Your Responsibilities :
- Take overall responsibility for assigned countries, including delivery of sales and budget targets.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer requests and commercial matters.
- Collaborate daily with internal stakeholders to align on active cases, sales strategies, and customer challenges.
- Establish and execute structured, disciplined follow-up plans for customer proposals.
- Lead customer negotiations to secure profitable business and strong commercial outcomes.
- Determine appropriate payment terms and take timely, firm action when customers fail to meet payment obligations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information, opportunities, and activities in the CRM system.
- Manage and distribute monthly service letters to customers.
- Drive the collection of overdue payments in coordination with relevant internal functions.
- Establish pricing guidelines that support sales growth and contribution-margin targets.
- Monitor and assess market conditions within the assigned area, including competitors, customer behavior, and customer operations.
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer organizations, approval processes, and key decision-makers.
- Plan, drive, and manage targeted sales and marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with the Capital Sales team when customers require solutions outside the service portfolio.
You bring
- Proven commercial acumen and prior sales experience.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate customers’ technical and commercial requirements.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, organize work effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to measure, analyze, and act on key performance indicators, including ROI and sales KPIs.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with at least five years’ experience in the cement industry.
- Sound knowledge of cement-process equipment, with hands-on experience in spare parts and service sales.
- Proactive and self-driven approach, with excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively; approximately 70% of working time will be spent visiting customers.
- Preferred residential location: India.
- Responsibility for selected cement accounts across the APAC region.
- Direct customer engagement experience and knowledge of cement markets in APAC are highly desirable; experience with other industrial plants is an advantage.
