Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Furniture Industry
Location: Kolkata (Rajarhat)
Experience: 7+ Years
We are hiring for one of our associated brands to drive and scale their business across the East region. The role requires a strong mix of channel development, project sales, and design understanding within the furniture and interiors ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
- Drive regional revenue targets and ensure consistent month-on-month growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives
- Identify and unlock new markets, cities, and growth opportunities
Channel & Distribution Development
- Build and expand dealer, distributor, and retail partner networks
- Strengthen relationships with existing channel partners to improve throughput
- Ensure effective product display, positioning, and visibility at retail points
Project Sales & Key Accounts
- Develop relationships with architects, interior designers, PMC firms, and developers
- Drive specification-led sales and large project closures
- Manage key accounts and ensure repeat business
Design & Product Understanding
- Strong understanding of furniture design, materials, finishes, and detailing
- Ability to engage with designers and clients on product application and aesthetics
- Work closely with internal teams on product feedback, customization, and market needs
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and drive performance of the regional sales team
- Set KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure target achievement
- Build a high-performance, execution-focused sales culture
Planning & Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasting, and MIS reporting
- Track competitor activity, pricing, and market trends
- Provide strategic inputs for product positioning and go-to-market
Candidate Profile
- 7+ years of experience in furniture / modular / interiors / building materials industry
- Strong exposure to B2B, channel sales, and project sales
- Prior experience handling a region, preferably East / Kolkata market
- Deep network within architects, designers, dealers, and developers
- Good understanding of design sensibilities, materials, and furniture applications
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently
