Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – East Zone will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing regional teams, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue targets across the East region. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and execution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets and business objectives
- Manage, guide, and monitor the performance of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Territory Sales IN charges (TSIs), and field sales teams
- Drive primary and secondary sales in the assigned region
- Expand distribution network and ensure market penetration in urban and rural areas
- Identify new business opportunities and strengthen channel partnerships
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to align strategies accordingly
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables
- Conduct regular market visits to review team performance and business development
- Coordinate with marketing and supply chain teams for smooth operations
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
Key Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving approach
- Market knowledge of East Zone territories
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in sales
- Experience in FMCG is Must
