Role Objective
We are looking to hire Regional Sales Head who will drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and lead strategic sales initiatives across Capital Markets segment based in Mumbai. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep domain expertise, strong industry relationships, and a proven ability to sell data analytics and cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategy
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting Capital Markets clients (banks, NBFCs, asset management firms, brokerages, exchanges etc).
- Identify high-value target accounts and emerging opportunities within capital markets and financial services.
- Leverage existing relationships to drive new business and market penetration.
Revenue Generation & Sales Leadership
- Own the complete sales lifecycle: lead generation, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Drive large, complex, and strategic deals across banking and capital market institutions.
- Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets and sales KPIs.
Relationship Management
- Build and nurture relationships with CXOs, trading heads, risk heads, CIOs, and other key stakeholders.
- Utilize a strong rolodex within BFSI and capital markets ecosystem.
- Position the company as a trusted partner in data analytics and digital transformation.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with product, marketing, pre-sales, and delivery teams to create tailored solutions.
- Ensure seamless execution and high customer satisfaction across engagements.
Market Intelligence & Insights
- Stay updated on trends in capital markets (trading analytics, risk & compliance, regulatory reporting, ESG, digital transformation).
- Track competitive landscape and identify whitespace opportunities.
Product & Customer Feedback
- Provide insights to product teams based on client needs in trading, risk, compliance, and analytics use cases.
- Support development of solutions relevant to capital markets clients.
Optimization & Growth
- Drive improvements in sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Enhance client engagement strategies and long-term account growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in business development or sales within BFSI, with focus on Capital Markets.
- Proven track record of selling data analytics, AI/ML, or cloud-based solutions.
- Strong understanding of the capital markets ecosystem (equities, derivatives, fixed income, trading platforms, risk systems).
- Experience working with banks, brokerages, asset managers, hedge funds, or exchange
