Regional Sales Director – West Region (Banking Accounts)
For an AI-centric global technology services company, we are looking for an experienced sales leader to drive strategic growth across Banking accounts in the West region. The ideal candidate should bring a strong background in IT services sales with proven success in managing large enterprise relationships and closing high-value transformation deals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive business growth across large Banking and Financial Services accounts in the West region
• Build and manage CXO-level relationships with enterprise customers and ecosystem partners
• Lead end-to-end sales cycles for large IT services and digital transformation engagements
• Identify and develop opportunities in ERP Transformation, Data & AI, Customer Experience, Mobility, Cloud, and Strategic Outsourcing
• Own revenue targets, account growth strategy, and deal closures
• Work closely with delivery and solution teams to build winning proposals and long-term client partnerships
• Balance both hunting for new business and farming existing strategic accounts
Requirements:
• 15–20 years of overall technology sales experience
• Minimum 12 years of experience in IT Services sales
• Strong exposure to Banking / BFSI enterprise accounts
• Proven track record of closing large multi-crore transformation deals
• Experience selling application and IT services solutions; product sales background will not fit
• Strong understanding of domestic Indian enterprise market with deep regional connects
• Established CXO and OEM relationships across Banking sector
• Stable career history with consistent growth in leadership roles
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
