Job Title: Regional Product Development Manager – Vegetable Seeds
Location: Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar
Region: Western India (MP, Gujarat, Maharashtra)
Role Purpose
Lead regional product development for vegetable crops through trials, pipeline building, and market-aligned product advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Trials & Evaluation: Plan and execute multi-location trials; evaluate hybrids for yield, adaptability, and market fit.
- Pipeline Development: Identify and advance promising hybrids; manage product lifecycle to launch readiness.
- Market Intelligence: Gather farmer insights, track competitors, and support R&D with actionable feedback.
- Field Validation: Conduct demos, portfolio trials, and farmer days to validate performance.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Align with Sales, Marketing, and Supply teams for GTM and forecasting.
- Team Management: Lead and develop PDOs/agronomists; ensure timely execution.
- Data & Reporting: Analyse trial data and generate technical recommendations.

Tomato, Chilli, Okra, Cucurbits, Cole crops (as per portfolio)

Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc / M.Sc Agriculture / Horticulture (Plant Breeding preferred)
- 5–10 years in vegetable seeds product development
- Strong regional agronomy knowledge

Agronomy expertise, trial design, data analysis, market understanding, leadership, stakeholder management.
