The Regional Managing Director – India will be responsible for building and leading EMAGE’s India transmission business from 0→1.
The ideal candidate should come from a leading EPC / transmission infrastructure organization (such as Larsen & Toubro, KEC, Kalpataru, Sterlite Power, Tata Projects, etc.), with a strong technical foundation in transmission engineering and extensive experience managing large-scale transmission EPC or program portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Strategy
- Lead EMAGE’s India market entry and long-term regional strategy
- Identify opportunities across transmission EPC, BOT/TBCB and grid modernization sectors
- Develop relationships with:
- Utilities
- Developers
- EPC partners
- Government stakeholders
- Investors
- Establish EMAGE’s local industry presence and brand recognition
EPC & Program Leadership
- Lead large-scale transmission EPC and infrastructure programs
- Oversee project lifecycle from:
- bidding
- design
- engineering
- procurement
- construction
- energization
- Build strong local delivery capability and supply-chain networks
- Ensure commercial, technical and delivery performance
Technical & Engineering Leadership
- Provide strategic technical direction on:
- transmission line engineering
- substations
- uprating
- advanced conductor solutions
- Support localization and deployment of EMAGE’s next-generation transmission technologies
- Bridge engineering solutions with commercial opportunities
BOT / TBCB Business Development
- Support identification and evaluation of BOT/TBCB transmission investment opportunities
- Participate in:
- project structuring
- consortium building
- strategic partnerships
- investment discussions
- Drive long-term infrastructure growth opportunities
Team Building & Organizational Development
- Build and lead EMAGE India organization
- Recruit and develop high-performing local teams
- Establish strong execution culture aligned with EMAGE values
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who:

- Have grown from technical/engineering background into senior program/business leadership
- Have strong experience in:
- transmission EPC
- program management

- Are highly entrepreneurial and capable of building business from scratch
- Have strong stakeholder management capability across clients, regulators and partners
- Possess strong leadership, execution and business development capability
Preferred Experience
- 15+ years in transmission infrastructure industry
- Experience managing:
- 220kV+
- 400kV
- 765kV
- HVDC
- projects
- Experience in both:
- engineering/design
- EPC/program delivery
- Experience engaging with:
- Power Grid
- SEBs
- Private developers
- Transmission investors
- International exposure is a plus
