We are hiring for one of the leading organizations in the construction solutions space

Position: Regional Manager – QA/QC

Location: Bangalore


Note:- Looking for QA/QC candidates with experience in high-rise buildings (15+ floors), waterproofing, site inspections, and client coordination for multi-floor construction projects.


Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Regional Manager – QA/QC to drive quality assurance and quality control practices across projects. The role involves ensuring adherence to quality standards, managing audits, resolving non-conformities, and strengthening site execution through effective training and stakeholder coordination.


Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance

  • Attend kick-off meetings for all projects above ₹5 Cr and develop project-specific checklists and method statements
  • Coordinate with QA-QC Engineers on mock-up reports and conduct second trials for non-conformities
  • Provide feedback to vendors for necessary modifications and improvements


2. Site Inspection & Audits

  • Conduct site visits and Project Quality Audits (PQA) for all projects above ₹5 Cr as per schedule
  • Ensure monthly audits of all projects below ₹5 Cr
  • Monitor and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) raised in ERP for timely closure within defined TAT
  • Review PQA conducted by QAQC Engineers and implement corrective actions with project teams
  • Participate in client meetings for major projects and ensure at least 50% coverage for other projects


3. Quality Control

  • Lead root cause analysis for site issues such as leakages and recommend corrective & preventive actions
  • Oversee repair works and monitor closure progress
  • Address material-related complaints in coordination with Product and Purchase teams
  • Ensure closure of NCRs raised by clients through close coordination with internal teams
  • Review and approve third-party lab testing quotations and ensure compliance with contractual requirements


4. Training & Capability Building

  • Identify and review training needs in coordination with project teams
  • Conduct fortnightly assessments (Viva) for technicians
  • Deliver refresher and advanced training sessions (minimum 2 per quarter)
  • Support development of technical training content and QA-QC learning materials


5. People Management & Leadership

  • Prepare and manage monthly site visit schedules for QAQC Engineers
  • Monitor technician training programs conducted by QAQC Engineers
  • Conduct weekly review meetings covering:
  • PQA performance
  • Daily work observations
  • Leakage analysis
  • Guide team in preparing QA-QC training videos and documentation
  • Prepare OAAP (Observation, Analysis & Action Plan) reports and drive discussions with project teams


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, audits, and site execution
  • Experience in handling NCRs, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience in construction chemicals, waterproofing, or related industry preferred


Preferred Experience

  • 8–15 years of experience in QA/QC, site quality, or project quality management
  • Proven experience in handling large-scale projects (>₹5 Cr)
  • Prior experience in team handling and cross-functional coordination
