SUMMARY OF THE OVERALL JOB

The position is primarily responsible for raising funds from Corporates via grants, events and campaigns. The person is also responsible for relationship management with existing donors. The person is responsible for donor acquisition, donor servicing, grant reporting and support program staff in the development and writing of proposals in line with Country Strategic Plan (CSP). The role also requires designing fundraising strategies and implement the same in the assigned geography to enable the organizational income targets. The position is also responsible for tracking the progress of programmes in coordination with the Program implementation team and submission of quality donor reports and timely updates.

KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Fund Raising
  • Stay up-to-date on CSR market space of the assigned geography.
  • To ideate and implement the fundraising strategy for the assigned geography and develop innovative methods to take Plan India’s vision and interventions to maximum target audiences.
  • To Meet CSR/HR/CXO’s of various corporate organizations in the assigned geography and set high standards of presentation for the case for partnership with Plan India through various offerings of the organization like CSR projects, Events, Campaigns, etc.
  • To provide effective end-to-end relationship management and lead all communications to the prospective clients/partners.
  • To provide timely resolution of queries, explaining the organization’s strategy and activities to the prospective partners.
  • To create and collate pitch presentations, concept notes, success stories, audios/videos etc. for showcasing Plan India’s vision, interventions and success.
  • To maintain a thorough MIS of data base of prospects, pipeline, closures and realizations in the financial year.
  • Develop a strong market presence for Plan India among the target section of corporates.
  • Coordinate and work with other departments in Plan India to develop concept notes and work closely in identifying opportunities to raise funds.


  • DONOR SERVICING
  • To be the first point of contact for all communication to the existing donors
  • To provide timely resolution of queries raised by donors.
  • To coordinate with specified programme implementation & Finance teams on quality and timely reporting (as per donor requirements/regulations)
  • To review and ensure timely submission of donor reports, updates, success stories, photos, videos etc.
  • To ensure timely, accurate and effective donor servicing in terms of the standard processes.
  • To facilitate donor visits, audit visits to the projects.


  • PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT
  • To participate in the process of conceptualizing and writing proposals and provide donor perspective and clarify donor requirements internally in Plan India.
  • To ensure timely development of proposals and concept notes as per donor requirements in coordination with the programme team
  • To constantly follow up and coordinate with the respective state teams and functional heads for their inputs and approval on the proposal and budget revisions, if any
  • To finalise budgets in discussion with the Programme Implementation and Finance teams for proposals
  • To finalize the proposal in line with the donor requirements and specifications.
  • To track progress of proposal/ concept note sent to the potential donor.



  • PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENTS
  • To facilitate all processes of entering into partnership with the donors.
  • To review the grant agreements to ensure compliance to Plan India’s procedures, system and ethical guidelines issues (incl. the Safeguarding policy).
  • To manage the grant agreements in terms of progress, updates and tracking , reporting expenditures etc.


  • TEAM MANAGEMENT
  • To develop, mentor and support team members for successfully acquiring corporate donors and delivering quality donor servicing
