Role Overview
Job Title : Regional Manager – Mumbai
Organization : STEM Learning
Type of Business: B2B Sales (CSR & Corporate Fundraising)
Experience Required : 10–15 years in B2B sales, corporate fundraising, or CSR partnerships (development sector preferred)
Salary : As per industry standards
Location : Mumbai
Joining: Immediate joiners preferred
Qualifications :
• Graduate + PGDM/MBA in Sales/Business Management, or Master's in Social Work with CSR/fundraising experience.
• 10–15 years of proven experience in B2B sales, corporate fundraising, CSR partnerships, or institutional sales (development sector strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated track record of leading large sales teams and consistently achieving high-value revenue targets.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Generation & Business Growth
• Drive monthly/quarterly/annual revenue targets through corporate fundraising and institutional sales across the West region.
• Develop and execute scalable, high-impact revenue strategies for Mumbai and the broader West region.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and convert them into sustainable revenue streams.
2. High-End Corporate Client & Stakeholder Management
• Manage and deepen relationships with marquee corporate clients; pitch strategic proposals and close high-value partnerships.
• Build and sustain relationships with CSR heads, foundation leaders, and government bodies at senior levels.
• Represent STEM Learning in high-stakes boardroom meetings and industry forums.
3. Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, mentor, and manage a CM & BD team of 20–30+ professionals across the region.
• Design and drive team-building programmes, performance frameworks, and capability-enhancement initiatives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous learning.
4. Strategic Sales & Conversion Optimization
• Design end-to-end regional sales strategies aligned with organizational growth goals.
• Leverage data and market intelligence to refine pipelines, improve conversion rates, and forecast accurately.
• Collaborate with national leadership on go-to-market strategies for new products and geographies.
5. Donor Acquisition & Retention
• Identify, qualify, and onboard new corporate donors and institutional partners.
• Maintain and grow a robust donor database; develop structured engagement plans for retention and upselling.
6. Government & Institutional Liaisoning
• Represent STEM Learning in meetings with government officials, PSUs, and policy bodies across Maharashtra and West India.
• Track government tenders, CSR mandates, and institutional RFPs relevant to the organization's portfolio.
7. Travel & Field Operations
• Willingness to travel extensively across the West region (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, and other states as required) for client meetings and partnership development.
Selection Criteria (Must-Have) :
• 10–15 years in B2B sales, corporate fundraising, or CSR partnership roles.
• Consistent, proven achievement of high-value revenue targets at a regional or national level.
• Strong executive stakeholder management and corporate engagement skills.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic sales planning and senior team mentoring.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams of 20+ professionals.
Preferred Skills :
• Deep experience in the development sector, CSR fundraising, or social impact organizations.
• Prior exposure to government tender processes and institutional/PSU sales.
• Network with CSR heads, foundations, and corporate decision-makers in Mumbai/West India.
• Familiarity with EdTech, STEM education, or skill development ecosystems.
