Mission
IT Center IN is responsible for IT Network infrastructure design, operation and management for the India region (total ~ 8 sites, ~6K users, ~7K endpoints, ~250 Servers (VM and Physical).
As a member of this team, your mission will be to roll-out and manage Corporate and/or industry IT infrastructure standards and best practices across the entire region, improve infrastructure efficiency, keep its costs under control, reduce service disruption and improve user experience.
Responsibilities
- Perimeter: Data centers, Workstations, Telecommunication, Security.
- Deploy standard group infrastructure within plants.
- Support R&D technical standards.
- Select and manage national outsourcers.
- Define & ensure different levels of service.
- Promote innovation at regional level.
- Guarantee confidentiality of information.
- Manage incidents not treated by outsourcers.
- Assists in preparation of the IT budget.
Past experience
At least 15-18 years of past IT experience and very strong technical background (such as a Master’s degree in Computer Science).
Skillset
You must have high autonomy, a good understanding of underlying IT concepts, strong motivation to learn, and resourcefulness in proposing adequate solutions to complex problems.

Mobility / other
The job requires frequent on-site visits to supervise suppliers, perform maintenance tasks, introduce and/or roll-out new technologies, execute security audits, and so on. Expect up to days per month on business trips, mostly in but sometimes in and occasionally other Asian countries.
For system maintenance or urgent system issues, it is also sometimes required to work late at night or during weekends. Average overtime is 2~3 hours per day.
