Job Title: Regional Head – Operations Experience: 7+ Years
Location: Mumbai
Reporting To: Business Head / Founder
Role OverviewDriver’s Klub is building a large-scale EV fleet platform with full-stack control over vehicles, drivers, and operations.
We are looking for a Regional Head – Operations who can own and scale end-to-end operations across cities, including fleet deployment, driver ecosystem, dispatch control, and revenue performance.
This is a high ownership, on-ground leadership role with direct impact on business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fleet Deployment & Utilization- Lead deployment of EV fleet across cities (owned + partner vehicles)
- Ensure high utilization, uptime, and revenue per vehicle
- Manage vehicle lifecycle: onboarding, rotation, downtime reduction
- Coordinate with OEMs, lessors, and partners for fleet supply
2. Dispatch & Control Tower- Set up and manage centralized dispatch/control tower operations
- Ensure efficient trip allocation and minimum idle time
- Optimize routes, shifts, and driver allocation
- Monitor real-time fleet performance via dashboards
3. Driver Ecosystem Management- Own driver hiring, onboarding, and training across cities
- Build strong local vendor/driver networks
- Ensure driver discipline, compliance, and productivity
- Drive retention, reduce churn, and handle escalations
4. City Operations & Expansion- Launch and scale new cities from 0 → 1 → 10
- Manage city ops teams, supervisors, and ground staff
- Ensure smooth coordination with partners (Evera, Cab-E, etc.)
- Handle local issues including RTO, police, and regulatory matters
5. Revenue & P&L Ownership- Own regional performance: revenue, cost, margins
- Improve revenue per car and reduce operational leakages
- Align operations with business targets and SLAs
6. Charging & EV Operations- Ensure efficient charging operations and minimal downtime
- Plan charging strategy (captive hubs + opportunity charging)
- Manage range optimization and charging schedules
7. Process & SOP Execution- Implement and enforce SOPs across cities
- Track key metrics:
- Fleet utilization
- Revenue/km
- Driver productivity
- Downtime
- Continuously improve processes and efficiency
8. Technology & Data-Driven Ops- Work with fleet tech platforms, dashboards, and tracking systems
- Ensure strong usage of tools (GPS, IoT, dispatch software)
- Coordinate with tech team for integrations and automation
- Drive decisions based on real-time data
Key Requirements
- 7+ years in fleet operations / mobility / logistics / EV space
- Proven experience managing multi-city operations & large fleets (100+ vehicles)
- Strong expertise in dispatch, driver ops, and ground execution
- Hands-on approach — comfortable being on-field when required
- Strong understanding of EV operations (charging, range, utilization challenges)
- Good with tools: Excel, dashboards, fleet management software, CRMs
- Strong team leadership and problem-solving mindset
- Fluent in English + local/regional language (must for city ops)
