Job Title: Regional Gifting Sales & Operations Lead
Location: Delhi and Mumbai
About the Role:
As a Gifting- Zonal Sales & Operations Manager at Food Stories, you will work with the Gifting Lead to drive Gifting business for your region. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the growth of a premium gourmet food brand by implementing sales strategies for Stores & Corporate channel, analysing business performance, optimizing processes, and collaborating across departments. Ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, passion for luxury and gourmet food, and a desire to make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Region Sales & Strategy
• Accountable for meeting the targets for the Zone/Region.
• Create and implement strategies to increase our Gifting sales, targeting both individual and corporate clients.
• Build a client data base for Corporate Sales.
• Design and execute a outreach plan for Corporate Sales.
• Manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
• Implement sales strategy for Stores Sales.
2. Gifting Store Operations
• Responsible for Gifting Display at the store.
• Analyse required Collaterals and other VM requirements and co ordinate for execution for the same.
• Manage inventory for packaging related to Gifting sales.
• Train and develop staff for Gifting initiatives.
• Analyse sales performance, providing insights into store-specific trends, customer behaviour, and
competitive positioning.
• Evaluate the impact of marketing campaigns, recommending data-driven strategies to enhance customer engagement and sales.
3. Monitoring & Reporting
• Implement dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor key business metrics.
• Compile monthly Sales reports and MIS decks to aid leadership in strategic decision-making.
4. Special Projects
• Collaborate with marketing to strategize and execute festive gifting events.
• Partner with teams to introduce innovative campaigns to increase footfalls, Same Store Sales Growth (SSSG), and online sales.
• Lead initiatives to enhance product assortment and customer experience, focusing on international food trends and consumer preferences.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Educational Background:
• MBA/ BMS/ BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHM – preferred Skills and
Competencies:
• 5-7 yrs of experience in Hospitality/ luxury retails/ Retail Gourmet Food Industry.
• Experience is Store Management, Corporate Sales and relationship management with HNIs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
• Passion for luxury retail, premium food spaces, and delivering unique customer experiences.
