Role Summary
The Regional Distributor will be the cornerstone of Confio's go-to-market strategy within the assigned territory. We are specifically seeking candidates who bring an active, well-established dealer network in the home automation and/or home theatre space â individuals who are already trusted by the integrator and dealer community and can immediately leverage those relationships to introduce and scale Confio's portfolio. This is not an entry-level distribution role; it demands a commercially mature professional with deep market roots, strong operational capability, and the ambition to grow with a category-defining brand.

What We Are Looking For
The single most important criterion for this role is an existing, active dealer and integrator network in one or both of the following segments:
Home Automation
Home Theatre
â Smart lighting and control systems
â Integrated home automation brands (KNX, Lutron, Control4, Crestron, or equivalent)
â Climate and HVAC control solutions
â Whole-home networking and smart security
â System integrators serving premium residential or commercial projects
â AV distribution and custom installation dealers
â High-end audio-visual brands (Sonos, Bose, Sony Pro, Samsung, or equivalent)
â Projection and screen solution specialists
â Acoustic treatment and dedicated home theatre installers
â Multi-room audio and video distribution dealers
Key Responsibilities
Distribution Network Development
â Leverage existing dealer and integrator relationships to rapidly introduce and list Confio's product portfolio across the region.
â Identify and appoint new authorised dealers and sub-distributors in alignment with Confio's brand standards and territorial coverage strategy.
â Design and implement structured dealer engagement programmes to drive consistent sell-through and active portfolio advocacy.
Revenue Ownership & Commercial Performance
â Assume full ownership of regional distribution revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
â Develop and execute a territory business plan that balances depth of penetration within existing accounts with breadth of new dealer acquisition.
â Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance across the dealer network; take corrective action where required to maintain pipeline health.
Partner Enablement & Training
â Conduct regular product training sessions, demonstrations, and certification programmes for dealer and integrator teams.
â Equip dealer partners with the technical knowledge, sales tools, and marketing collateral required to confidently position and sell Confio products.
â Coordinate with Confio's pre-sales and technical teams to support complex project demonstrations and installation walkthroughs.
Project Pipeline & Specification Activity
â Work in conjunction with dealer partners to identify, register, and pursue high-value projects in the residential, hospitality, and commercial segments.
â Engage with architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, and developers to drive Confio product specifications at the design and planning stage.
â Maintain a comprehensive and current project opportunity register within the CRM platform.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
â Provide structured weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, pipeline status, dealer activity, and competitive developments to the National Distribution Head.
â Gather and communicate actionable competitor intelligence including pricing movements, product launches, and channel strategies.
â Represent Confio at regional trade events, exhibitions, and industry forums to reinforce brand presence and generate qualified leads.
Qualifications & Competencies
Essential Requirements
Advantageous Background
â 5â8 years in distribution, channel trade, or dealership management
â Proven, active dealer/integrator network in home automation and/or home theatre
â Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding distribution revenue targets
â Strong commercial negotiation and relationship management skills
â Sound understanding of distribution economics, margin structures, and channel incentives
â Proficiency in CRM tools and basic sales reporting
â Graduate degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
â Direct prior experience distributing premium smart home or AV brands
â Relationships with luxury residential developers, hospitality groups, or commercial fit-out contractors
â Exposure to project registration and specification-driven sales models
â Experience managing sub-distributor or multi-tier channel structures
â Familiarity with IoT ecosystems, home networking, or connected device platforms
