Hiring | Deputy Manager – Commercial Regional (CA, FP&A and Finops)
Location: Mumbai , India | Experience: 6–10 Years post CA qualification
We are hiring for a Deputy Manager – Commercial (Regional) role with a premium luxury brand operating in the luxury retail / lifestyle / non-apparel segment. This is a high-impact opportunity for finance professionals with strong exposure to retail commercial operations, compliance, and stakeholder management.
Role Overview
In this role, you will partner closely with business, retail, and finance teams to ensure seamless commercial operations, financial control, and compliance across regional stores and channel partners. You will play a critical role in revenue reconciliation, cost optimization, working capital management, and audit readiness, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for regional operations
• Monitor store profitability, margins, and cost controls
• Manage receivables and payables, ensuring strong debtor control and franchisee reconciliation
• Lead working capital management, fund planning, and revenue reconciliation with treasury
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, SOPs, and internal policies
• Conduct GST, TDS, and tax assessments to prevent financial leakages
• Oversee GL reviews, month-end closures, and MIS reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Retail, Sales, Legal, HR, and Finance
• Lead training initiatives for store teams on commercial processes and compliance
• Drive process improvements, policy implementation, and audit readiness
What We’re Looking For
• Chartered Accountant with 6–8 years of experience in retail commercial operations
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, taxation (GST/TDS), and compliance frameworks
• Experience in luxury retail / lifestyle / consumer-facing industries preferred
• High proficiency in data analysis, Excel, and financial systems
• Strong analytical mindset, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
