Responsibilities

• Supervision of individual segments in major (Two Wheeler/Private Car/Commercial Vehicle) claims within the region. This includes providing direction to the Claims personnel for investigating, documenting, negotiating, and closing of claim files in an accurate and equitable manner per company procedures and goals.
• Completion of open and closed file audits within company guidelines to determine proper handling and establishment of reserves.
• Submitting monthly and other periodical reports and as requested by the management.
• Working with the Claims Committee to solve coverage questions, liability questions, claim value, legal position and other claims related issues.
• Work with all claims personnel through open communication to enhance increased productivity, efficient work flow, and positive attitudes in order to achieve desired goals.
• Technical approvals in the claims module.
• Conversant with the online claims settlement.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ B.Tech - Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile
• Experience- Sound knowledge of managing individual segments in major (Two Wheeler/Private Car/Commercial Vehicle) of Motor (OD) Claims in the field of General Insurance Industry.

Required Skills

• Should be from general insurance background & sound knowledge of handling Motor (OD) Claims with 7-15 years of experience.
• Should have excellent communication skills.
• Should have team building experience.
