Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Regional Business Manager located in Mangaluru. The Regional Business Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distributor relationships, planning and executing regional strategies, and leading and mentoring a team of sales professionals. This role will involve regular field visits, monitoring team performance, and ensuring adherence to company policies and processes. The individual will also work closely with the marketing and medical teams to implement market-specific strategies, address customer needs, and ensure business growth in the assigned region.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and account management skills, with a proven ability to achieve regional sales targets and drive business growth.
- Leadership and team management capabilities to motivate, guide, and develop sales teams effectively.
- Strategic planning and analytical skills for market analysis, trend identification, and decision-making.
- Proficiency in building and managing relationships with distributors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data, strategies, and plans clearly to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge or experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, pharmacy, or a related field (MBA or equivalent qualifications preferred).
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned region as part of regular field activities.
