Role Description The Regional Business Head role at Urban Money is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Regional Business Head will oversee regional business operations, drive sales growth, and build strong relationships with lending partners and key stakeholders. Responsibilities include setting regional targets, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing strategies to expand the customer base and improve service delivery. This role will lead and mentor a regional team, ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth loan processing. The Regional Business Head will also identify market opportunities, optimize processes, and uphold Urban Money’s standards of unbiased advisory and client-centric service.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring, performance oversight, and regional operations management.
- Proven business development, sales strategy, and relationship management abilities within financial services, lending, or related domains.
- Sound understanding of retail loans, mortgage products, and banking processes, including documentation, compliance, and risk assessment.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with proficiency in interpreting market trends, financial data, and performance reports.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate effectively with clients and partner institutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in banking, NBFCs, loan advisory, or financial services, preferably in regional or cluster leadership roles.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, travel within the region as needed, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
