We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in HSR, Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and validation. This position operates on a hybrid work model, allowing for a mix of remote and in-office work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning: Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
2. Manual and Automated Testing: Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality, functionality, and performance.
3. Defect Identification: Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure thorough testing throughout the development lifecycle.
5. Continuous Improvement: Analyze testing processes and tools, recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Reporting: Provide regular reports on testing progress, results, and metrics to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
2. Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
3. Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) for test automation.
4. Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
