About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in building and scaling our online event management solutions. In this role, you’ll help architect and maintain robust backend systems that support a seamless and reliable experience for our users around the globe.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features that delight our users and enable powerful tools for event organizers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for our event management platform
2. Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to implement new features and integrations
3. Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications
4. Maintain code quality, implement best practices, and participate in code reviews
5. Monitor and optimize system reliability, security, and performance

What We’re Looking For

1. 3+ years of experience in backend development
2. Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or similar backend languages
3. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and distributed systems
4. Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
5. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus
6. Passion for building products that solve real-world problems at scale
