About the Role
We’re looking for a Backend Engineer (Node.js) to join our growing team in HSR Layout, Bangalore. This is a hands-on role where you'll work on core product features, scalable backend systems, and internal APIs that power our platform. If you enjoy building high-performance applications and want to be part of a fast-moving, product-first team, we’d love to talk.

What You’ll Do

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
2. Work with PostgreSQL, cloud services, and API integrations
3. Collaborate with product and frontend teams to build and deliver new features
4. Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems
5. Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and best practice sharing
6. Contribute to shaping engineering processes and culture in a hybrid work environment

What We’re Looking For

1. 3–5 years of experience in backend development, with solid proficiency in Node.js
2. Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
3. Familiarity with building RESTful APIs and microservices
4. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code
5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with hybrid work flexibility

Nice to Have

1. Experience with TypeScript, Redis, or GraphQL
2. Exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, or containerized deployments
3. Interest in scalability, performance tuning, and system design
