Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Refractory Chemist located in Bengaluru. The Refractory Chemist will be responsible for conducting laboratory experiments, performing quality control tasks, and engaging in research and development activities to innovate and improve refractory and ceramic materials. Daily tasks include analyzing material properties, developing new formulations, conducting tests, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills and a strong understanding of material testing procedures
- Experience in conducting Quality Control checks to ensure products meet industry and safety standards
- Strong Analytical Skills to examine and interpret material properties effectively
- Demonstrated experience in Research and Development (R&D) and the ability to execute and manage research projects
- Knowledge of advanced Refractory and Ceramic material properties is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or related fields
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Previous experience in the mining, ceramics, or metals industry is an advantage
