Role OverviewWe are looking for a creative and trend-aware Reels & Video Editor to join our growing remote team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling through short-form content, understands social media trends, and can transform raw footage into engaging visual content.
You will work closely with our creative and marketing team to produce high-quality reels and videos for brands, creators, and businesses.
Note: Portfolio/sample work link is mandatory. Applications without portfolio links may not be considered.
What You’ll DoVideo Editing & Content Creation- Edit engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media videos
- Add subtitles, transitions, sound effects, music, and visual enhancements
- Create fast-paced edits with strong hooks and audience retention
- Transform raw footage into polished content aligned with brand style
- Deliver platform-optimized content for social media
Creative Collaboration- Collaborate with the social media and creative team
- Understand content briefs and execute edits efficiently
- Implement feedback positively and maintain quality standards
- Suggest creative ideas, trends, transitions, and storytelling styles
Content Operations & Workflow- Maintain organized project files and editing workflow
- Ensure timely delivery of projects
- Stay updated with social media trends and editing styles
- Follow platform-specific formatting and export requirements
RequirementsRequired- 0 to 2 years of video editing experience
- Experience editing short-form content
- Basic knowledge of:
- CapCut
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- VN Editor
- After Effects (optional)
- Understanding of social media content and trends
- Good sense of pacing, subtitles, transitions, and storytelling
- Portfolio/showreel demonstrating editing work
Preferred- Motion graphics knowledge
- Basic color correction skills
- Understanding of viral/social media editing styles
- Knowledge of AI editing tools and workflows
- Basic thumbnail or reel cover design skills
