Hermit Poems LLC is an independent record label focused on global underground music. We’re building a high-frequency short-form content engine to promote our music catalogue through Reels, TikTok, and Shorts -and we’re looking for a Reels/TikTok Editor who understands internet culture, hooks, and algorithm-driven content.
Role Overview:
This role is purely execution-focused. You’ll be responsible for creating high-volume, engaging short-form videos using Hermit Poems’ music catalogue and trend-led visuals. Content will be published via high-frequency Instagram/TikTok accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and deliver high-volume short-form video content daily for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Create trend-aware, sound-first edits optimized for retention and engagement.
- Use Gen AI tools (video, image, text, motion) to speed up ideation and production.
- Repurpose and adapt content across platforms with minimal rework.
- Follow content briefs while also contributing creative ideas and trends.
- Maintain a consistent posting cadence and fast turnaround time.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Reels, TikTok, and Shorts formats, hooks, and trends.
- Proficiency with Gen AI tools for video, visuals, captions, or motion.
- Ability to work fast and independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working with underground, experimental, and global music.
- Reliable internet connection and availability for daily output.
Deliverables:
- 3-5 edited videos per day (9:16, platform-ready)
- Consistent daily output and quality control
Compensation:
- ₹10,000 INR per month
- Freelance / contract-based
- Remote & flexible working hours
