About the role
As a Redis L1 Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Redis' cloud infrastructure. This includes monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Redis' production cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance for our customers.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps best practices. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a passion for solving complex problems.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain Redis' cloud infrastructure, including servers, databases, and other cloud resources
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Redis' cloud infrastructure
- Automate various operational tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve the reliability and scalability of Redis' cloud infrastructure
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents as needed
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices
