About Devable
Devable is a growth marketing partner for AI-native devtool and platform companies. Most of these companies have great products but struggle to get in front of the right developers. We fix that through technical content, SEO, GEO, influencer marketing, and social media.
Why this role exists
Developers don't click ads. They read Reddit. When someone asks "best way to self-host embeddings" or "which tool should I pick for X," the answers in those threads shape buying decisions, and increasingly, what ChatGPT and Claude cite.
Demand for Reddit marketing is growing fast. It's become a top source for LLM citations, and devtool companies are waking up to it. Very few people know how to do it well. That's the gap we're hiring for.
You'll be trained and shaped into a fullstack Reddit marketer: account infrastructure, subreddit strategy, technical content, engagement, GEO, and client reporting. Interns who perform well have a clear path to going full-time at Devable as a Reddit Marketer.
What you'll do
- Create and manage Reddit profiles, each with its own persona and posting history
- Learn account infrastructure: warmup protocols, karma building, health monitoring
- Contribute meaningfully in technical subs: real answers, not karma farming
- Write posts and comments that sound like an engineer, not a marketer
- Assist on client deliverables: posting, engagement, weekly reporting
- Track what works: impressions, upvotes, referral traffic, LLM citation pickup
What you'll learn
How Reddit marketing actually works for devtools: subreddit dynamics, account health, GEO (getting brands cited by LLMs), and client reporting. You'll work directly with the team running live campaigns, not on mock projects.
Who you are
- A genuine redditor, on the platform for 2+ years. You know subreddit culture and can smell an AI-written comment from the title
- Comfortable with technical topics: tech student, recent graduate, or self-taught dev
- Curious and willing to learn. Active Reddit usage matters more than work experience
Good to have
- Interest in AI, ML, or developer tools
- Experience posting or commenting in technical subreddits
