Reddit marketing specialist
Location: New Delhi (On-site)
Compensation: ₹3–4 LPA
About the Role
We are looking for someone who actively uses Reddit, understands internet culture, and knows how to contribute meaningfully to discussions without being promotional.
This is not a conventional marketing role.
The focus is on building credibility in developer communities, engaging in relevant conversations, and driving awareness and traffic for SaaS and DevTools companies.
Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Engagement
- Identify high-value subreddits such as r/devops, r/programming, r/SaaS, etc.
- Participate in discussions with value-first responses
- Write 5–10 thoughtful and relevant comments daily
Thread Research and Execution
- Identify threads where client solutions can genuinely add value
- Contribute useful insights and solutions
- Mention products only when contextually relevant
Reputation Building
- Build a credible Reddit presence over time
- Focus on helping before promoting
- Develop consistent engagement within targeted communities
Content and Growth
- Share content strategically when relevant
- Track performance including engagement, upvotes, and traffic
- Identify patterns and optimize approach
RequirementsMust Have
- Active Reddit user
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to think critically and contribute meaningfully
- Basic understanding of SaaS, DevTools, or technology products
Good to Have
- Experience in content, community, or growth roles
- Familiarity with developer communities
- Interest in startups, AI, or technology
