Junior Operating System Software Engineer - Databases

The Red Hat Core-Services Engineering team is seeking a Software Engineer with C / C++ skills. If you have more experience with Python or Bash and you are interested in learning or improving your C/C++ skills this position will be the right challenge for you! This position is based in Brno. In this role you will be in contact with upstream developers all over the world while integrating assigned components into the Fedora, CentOS Stream and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating systems. You will also have the opportunity to work with modern technologies like Linux containers, OpenStack, OpenShift, or Kubernetes; all alongside some of the brightest developers in the open source industry and your work will be visible worldwide. This role is a great opportunity to learn a wide range of technologies and operating system principles and thanks to the variety of tasks, it will be up to you what to work on each day.
