HR & Recruitment Manager – Retail (Ethnic Wear Brand)

Location: Mumbai (Thane / Santacruz)
We are looking for an HR & Recruitment Manager to help build and manage a strong team for our retail and e-commerce business. The role will focus on hiring the right people, building team culture, and maintaining discipline and structure in the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment
- Hire retail sales executives, designers, CRM staff, and support roles
- Manage job postings, screening, and interviews
- Ensure timely hiring for store and office roles
- Build a pipeline of strong candidates for future hiring
2. HR Operations
- Manage employee onboarding and documentation
- Maintain attendance, leave, and HR records
- Coordinate payroll inputs with accounts
- Handle employee queries and HR compliance
3. Performance & Culture
- Track team performance and attendance discipline
- Support management in implementing sales targets and accountability
- Maintain professional grooming and workplace standards
- Help create a positive and motivated team environment
4. HR Systems
- Create structured HR processes for recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews
- Maintain employee database and reporting for management
Requirements
- 3–7 years experience in HR / recruitment
- Experience hiring for retail or fashion industry preferred
- Strong communication and people management skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple roles simultaneously
