The Recruitment Manager will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end recruitment activities for blue collar workforce requirements across multiple locations and projects. The role includes manpower planning, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, onboarding, and ensuring timely closure of bulk hiring requirements for roles such as technicians, operators, helpers, electricians, fitters, welders, housekeeping staff, machine operators, ETP operators, drivers, and other site-based positions.
The candidate should have strong experience in mass hiring, vendor management, field recruitment drives, job fairs, and maintaining recruitment MIS.
Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for blue collar and site-based positions.
- Manage bulk hiring requirements across multiple projects, plants, factories, and client locations.
- Source candidates through job portals, consultants, contractors, social media, referrals, field sourcing, and local networks.
- Conduct walk-in drives, job melas, campus drives, and local hiring campaigns.
- Coordinate with project managers, site in-charges, and operations teams to understand manpower requirements.
- Ensure timely closure of open positions within the defined TAT.
- Build and maintain a pipeline/database of blue collar candidates for future requirements.
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies, labor contractors, and manpower vendors.
- Negotiate commercials and ensure vendor performance as per hiring targets.
- Maintain regular communication with hiring managers and provide recruitment updates.
- Support business teams in urgent and critical manpower requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of blue collar / bulk hiring processes.
- Experience in hiring for technician, operator, helper, electrician, fitter, welder, housekeeping, security, HVAC, PLC, ETP, and other industrial roles.
- Expertise in mass hiring, field recruitment, and walk-in drives.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and close multiple positions within tight deadlines.
- Good knowledge of PF, ESI, labor compliance, and onboarding documentation.
