About the Role
We’re hiring a Recruitment Consultant to join our remote team in a recruitment + sales role.
You’ll manage end-to-end recruitment delivery while actively engaging Australian employers through outbound business development, converting qualified talent pools into live hiring mandates.
This role is ideal for someone commercially driven, structured, confident on the phone, and excited by international exposure.
What You’ll Do
Recruitment Delivery
- Build and manage candidate pipelines across priority sectors
- Conduct structured screening and competency-based interviews
- Maintain job-ready shortlists aligned to employer needs
- Support candidates through visa sponsorship processes alongside licensed Migration Agents
- Maintain CRM accuracy and reporting discipline
Employer Acquisition & Sales
- Conduct outbound cold calls to Australian employers
- Qualify workforce needs and uncover skill-gap opportunities
- Pitch candidate pools and convert conversations into live mandates
- Contribute directly to revenue targets and commercial KPIs
International Representation
- Represent The Placement Valley at international trade shows and workforce expos
- Lead candidate engagement and partnership-building at global events
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years’ experience in recruitment, agency or international recruitment preferred
- Proven outbound sales, lead generation, or cold-calling experience
- Strong interviewing and candidate-assessment skills
- Commercial confidence when speaking with employers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-driven and comfortable working in a remote, KPI-led environment
- Knowledge of recruitment compliance and visa sponsorship is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred
