The University of Sunderland is a UK University with campuses in Sunderland (North East England), London and Hong Kong. The International Office is responsible within the University for the recruitment of International students to our campuses in Sunderland and London as well as our Transnational Education (TNE) work across the world.


About the role

Join our international recruitment team and play a key role in driving growth across a dynamic regional portfolio. As Recruitment and Development Coordinator, you’ll build strong relationships with agents and partners, represent the University at high‑impact recruitment events, and use data‑driven insights to boost application quality and volume. This is a fast‑paced, outward‑facing role perfect for someone who thrives on collaboration, connection and making real impact in global student recruitment.


About you

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a skilled relationship builder with strong organisational skills, sharp attention to detail and the confidence to represent the University in fast‑paced recruitment environments. You’ll bring experience working with international agents, a solid understanding of global education markets, and the ability to use data to drive smarter decisions. If you can juggle deadlines, communicate brilliantly, and work independently while staying aligned with team goals, you’ll excel here.
