Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with faculty and students, while collaborating with firm professionals to facilitate
networking and branding at targeted schools
- Manage all on-campus activities, event planning and execution that facilitates the candidate selection and
interviewing process to fill staff and intern positions throughout the firm
- Collaborate with leadership to develop a ‘recruiting mindset’ and evaluate staffing needs, as well as educate on
overall recruiting process
- Utilize the firm’s recruitment tools and processes to execute proper workflow, maintain accurate records and
ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), diversity policies, and firm policies
- Leverage assessment tools and external agencies, where relevant to optimize the hiring experience
- Assist with mentoring and supervising junior team members, as needed and collaborate with other team members
on firm–wide programs
- Provide support to projects in the recruitment people management arena, including employment brand, applicant
tracking system, diversity & inclusion and other recruiting initiatives
- Partner with HR and Resource Management to ensure effective onboarding and integration of new hires
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, emphasis in HR or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience required; experience in recruiting in public accounting or a professional
services environment preferred
- Experience with recruiting systems/tools (e.g. Taleo) preferred
- Effective time management and organizational skills, proven ability to prioritize while simultaneously managing
numerous projects/processes often under tight deadlines
- Ability to understand problems, think critically and identify creative solutions
- Sound knowledge of recruitment practices and keeping up to date with trends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately 25% during peak campus season
