US Technical Recruiter – Automotive/Aerospace Engineering
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven US Technical Recruiter to support hiring initiatives within the Automotive and Aerospace engineering industries. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and coordinating top engineering talent for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire opportunities across the United States.
The ideal candidate should have experience recruiting for engineering and manufacturing environments, strong knowledge of technical roles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced staffing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for Automotive and Aerospace engineering positions across the US market
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, ATS databases, networking, and referrals
- Screen and evaluate candidates for technical, behavioral, and cultural fit
- Recruit for roles including Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Embedded Engineers, Design Engineers, and Project Managers
- Coordinate interviews, feedback, onboarding, and offer processes
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Work closely with hiring managers and account managers to understand technical requirements and staffing priorities
- Negotiate compensation rates and maintain candidate engagement throughout the hiring process
- Ensure compliance with US employment regulations and client hiring processes
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within ATS/CRM systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in US staffing/recruitment, preferably in Automotive or Aerospace engineering domains
- Experience recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, or technical positions
- Strong understanding of US employment practices, W2/C2C/1099 hiring models, and visa terminology
- Experience using ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and other sourcing tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Tier-1 Automotive suppliers, OEMs, or Aerospace clients
- Knowledge of engineering skill sets such as CAD, CAE, Embedded Systems, Manufacturing, Quality, PLC, Validation, and Product Development
- Familiarity with engineering compliance standards and manufacturing environments
- Strong networking and passive candidate sourcing skills
